On tonight’s show, Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy learn all about foodie vacations, low cal margarita’s and more from our good friend Tiffany Davis, Atlanta Editor of the Daily Candy. She had some great tips on how to stay at home and have your own Foodie Vacation. She called it a Foodie Vacay, but she is much hipper than me and can pull that off. She also told us how she’s dating a chef and now all her tips seem to be about food. Here are the notes she sent us on everything she talked about.

 1. www.bethennybakes.com
- ever watch the Real Housewives of NYC?
- Martha Stewart Apprentice finalist Bethenny Frankel whips up nutritious, luxurious recipes (she’s a celeb chef) that women are clamoring for after watching the show.
- She’s recently posted a recipe called “The Skinny Girl Margarita” that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

2. www.wildhibiscus.com
- packaged in spring water and shipped right from the aussie outback
- perfect when you’re tiring of being “good” and having wine spritzers. opt for one of these in some champagne or to spice up a spritzer

3. flax seeds are my newest obsession
- healthy food coaches love them because they literally can be sprinkled into just about ANY recipe, smoothie, dessert, or pasta dish and do nothing but add fiber to a meal, which can make you feel satisfied all that much quicker

4. take yourself on a foodie vacay even if you can’t afford a real one!
- www.moderndaymasala.com (pan asian classics like butter chicken and spiced cauliflower)
- www.currysimple.com (thai, indochine, and singaporean sauces)

5. grill, grill, grill!
- take fruits and vegetables out of the oven and onto meats instead of sauces and salty marinades.
- when it cools down, invest in a grill pan. they’re quick and cook food really evenly on top of adding a grill-like flavor to ‘em.

6. True Lemon/Lime
- new product that’s pure lemon, lime, and orange essence in a single serve pouch or shaker
- no cal, sugar, salt, or carbs!

7. Join a food co-op or start one
- if you were skeptical, gas prices might convince you now
- for a small member fee and about $25 a package, you have fresh vegetables and fruits on hand all the time
