On tonight’s show, Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy learn all about Smoothie King from Steve Kahnau, the co-founder of
Smoothie King and registered dietitian Molly Kimball. They told us how to make smoothie’s skinny.
Steve told us how he came up with the Smoothie King concept. He said he had a lot of allergies and began experimenting with fruits and nutritional ingredients in his blender at home. Soon he opened a health food store selling healthy drinks and that’s where Smoothie King started.
Smoothie King smoothies are filled with natural ingredients like real fruit and juices so they sure beat fast food when you are in a hurry. Remember, if you want to cut out around 100 calories from their smoothies be sure to make it skinny (they will get rid of the turbinado (raw sugar) from your drink.
