You have to remember though, that these are pro athletes so they are burning lots and lots of calories during their workouts. So they can afford to consume more calories before and after in order to replenish. So watch that if your workouts are done in minutes rather than hours.

Nicci Micco’s husband here. Yes, at one point i did not know what mesculin was, but now, thanks to nicci putting the most random things on the grocery list I’ve become the foremost expert male grocery shopper between the ages of 28 and 32 in the greater burlington vermont area. The 16 year old workers at our local supermarket now ask me where to stock the shelves. Besides, that mesculin thing was back when i was in my mid-twenties, just coming off bachelorhood; when things were much simpler and lettuce was just lettuce.
