On tonight’s show Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy learn the inside dish from Kathy Smith on your fitness favorites like Richard Simmons, Denise Austin and Jack LaLanne.  Remember, Kathy was one of the driving forces behind the original dance aerobics craze. She had exercise videos and TV shows that really got people moving back in the day (and she’s still going strong today!).  Kathy shares her best tips to get you moving and off the couch. She says 1-exercise in groups for that energy and support and so you can socialize and exercise at the same time 2-Choose an activity you love, whether it is ballroom dancing, tennis or kickball. And finally 3-reward yourself for small victories. Kathy has a new dvd out called Lift Weights to Lose Weight which is available on www.lionsgatedvd.com.
