On tonight’s show Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy were lucky enough to get Food Editor of our favorite food magazine Jessie Price from Eating Well magazine on to talk about Eating Well’s latest recipe book Comfort Foods Made Healthy. Jessie took us behind the scenes of Eating Well and shared some of her favorite recipes and foodie stories. Dr Fitness and Jessie got into a heated discussion about salads…especially how to make a salad your main course. This new book from Eating Well is an awesome collection of some of your favorite comfort foods like mac and cheese, pizza, cheeseburgers, soups, pot pies as well as desserts like pies and brownies made healthier and with many less calories. The Fat Guy loved how they were able to cut about 60% of the fat from one of his favorites – chicken fried steak with gravy…..mmmm Gravy. The book is like extreme makeover except with food.
