On tonight’s show Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy learn all about bicycles made for people of all sizes from Joan Denizot, founder of Super Sized Cycles and Zize Bikes (size with attitude) – she makes bikes for the extra large people, like The Fat Guys, of the world. Joan has been riding bikes her whole life and when she got too heavy to ride conventional bikes she thought that there had to be bikes that fit people that were her size – guess what there weren’t. So that spurred her to build bikes for people who weigh up to 550 pounds. She has several different styles of bicycles some even give you a little electric motor assist.  Most of her bikes are 8 speeds and come with the cushiest, most supportive seats a bike can have. She shared amazing success stories of clients who have lost 100+ pounds and more importantly got back some independence and freedom they had lost by being overweight. If you love to bike and feel you are too heavy for a conventional bicycle then please check out Joan’s great website to learn more please  www.supersizedcycles.com or www.zizebikes.com
