As a game developer, I am ashamed. When will these huge franchises realize that they're making us look like morons? $100 for a game, a box, and an art book? That's still a ripoff, even if the box is wicked. People don't usually throw down that much for a single game unless it really delivers, and it seems like this game is going to come up short. 'Arena Mode' should be a normal game feature and bonuses shouldn't be DLC.If you're going to make a super awesome collectors edition, at least include something badass like a plastic version of the main character's favorite weapon or a strategy guide - anything cool or useful worth the extra cost. A shiny 'Collectors Edition' box isn't gonna cut it.

“What are you talking about? He was wrong because we're all using mice right now.That comment displays a total lack of incite. If you are using anything remotely resembling a modern GUI OS then you NEED a mouse. It's not a matter of "wanting" one or not. Trying to use a GUI without a pointing device a complete chore and worse than just using a terminal. The Mac would have been horrible, if not entirely inconsequential, without the mouse.At a time when personal computers were about to turn a corner for strict hobbiest and business fare to generally user friend machines for the average computer Dvorak missed the boat. He didn't see the direction the industry was heading, and this comment is proof of that. He was so wrong.

Its all in the design. I mean, Droid is going nowhere if companies keep skinning android with gawd aweful interfaces. One of the reasons why a company like Motorola is losing out to Apple is that their phones implement UI similar to phones from 10 years ago.Features are important, but the UI accesses those features, and having some crappy amateur lackluster UI to access those features is going to leave a bad taste in many peoples mouths. I have a phone that could play music, I choose not to use it because it uses some junky Java based music player that looks circa Windows 3.1, I would rather carry around an extra iPod Touch in addition to my phone just to listen to music.Lets face it, there is going to be a ton on phones out there that are going to do all largely the same thing. Access the web, play games or music, have a slew of utility apps, oh, and make phones calls and text messages. The phones that are going to win customers over are the ones that are going to stand above the rest with impressive hardware and software design, and judging from the screenshots for the Motorola Droid, they failed (again) on both accounts.HTC gets it and I am seeing this company quickly overtake the "traditional" phone companies in the post-iPhone era, but Nokia and Motorola couldn't design a good UI to save their lives, which is why I predict they will either leave the phone market or die in it regardless if it runs something like Droid on them.
