The US needs no encouragement to overspend on militarism. Our whole economy is crucially dependent on excessive military spending. China is likely being honest here. The US has already taken significant steps towards weaponizing space. Other powers, like China are certainly thinking very hard about how to counter any potential threat or advantage the US might gain here..
as someone who likely enjoys a substantialy higher standard of living than Indian slum dwellers, I don't think you're in a position to pass judgement.!

For 95% of situations where cops use a taser, they don't need it, and sometimes they pull it out even when they don't need it as a threat of violence. I, personally, would rather get punched in the gut to "subdue me" than get hit by a taser. Thus, I say take away that power or make them more accountable for their actions.
