When I was a kid and wanted to exchange information with all of my friends at the same time, we had to do it face-to-face. Those days sucked. I mostly stick to e-mail and don't use any of the social networking sites, but I don't understand the hate the younger crowd tends to give Twitter. Is it because it you don't have the ability to give a virtual beer? If I had to pick one, I would probably pick that. It has a clean, simple interface where you can keep everyone updated on what you're doing or get the word out to any gatherings to all your friends.
