Teresa was kind to come into the studio and share her story and some exercise tips with Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy. She even brought her dog Buddy in to help. She has developed a series of 1 minute T-Tapp exercises that kids can do at their desks. Listen to the show to learn more.

Teresa is an exercise physiologist and rehabilitative trainer. She created her unique workout and effective cellulite removal program while working within the International Modeling Industry. She explained that she I worked as a personal trainer, new face developer, booker and scout for several top modeling agencies in the U.S. and in Europe. After working in an industry that demands body perfection, she figured out how to get the female body in shape no matter what age or fitness level while reducing and/or eliminating cellulite. Her Total System is the most effective on the market today! She said people actually see results within 7 days. And she said the Fat Guy might even see results within 10 days if he tried it.

Teresa said, “I could care less what the scale says. Let’s face it, inches count, pounds don’t. Models are measured, not weighed because no matter what the scale says, if the hips are too big for an outfit, they don’t get the job. I have always guaranteed an inch off the waist or hips in one week. Most women lose at least one dress size if not two in 30 days.” Since retiring from the modeling world she has helped thousands of regular women achieve the same results as her models - higher energy, hormonal balance, and body awareness on how to get fit quick! Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy can’t recommend Teresa and her workout enough. She gets amazing results fast and she has tens of thousands of raving fans to prove it. Will Human Growth Hormone Make Me Look Like Arnold Schwarzeneggar?

Wednesday, January 11th, 2006

Human Growth Hormone is being touted as the key to the fountain of youth and it is commonly associated with Anti-Aging. It all started back in 1990 when Dr. Daniel Rudman published a study on the effects of Growth Hormone on lean body mass and fat tissue in the New England Journal of Medicine. Dr. Judith Reichman does a fine job explaining the reality of using Human Growth Hormone, who is it really for, and the dangers associated with it’s use.

What is growth hormone? Does it really work to stop aging?Growth hormone is produced in the pituitary gland of the brain. Once released, it induces the liver to make insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), and this hormone then triggers the growth of bones and body tissues. HGH is especially important for normal growth in children. Indeed, most of our knowledge of hGH comes from studying children who lack the hormone, and as a result suffer from stunted growth and development. In adults, a true medical deficiency of growth hormone may result from disease, tumors, surgery or radiation that destroys critical areas in the pituitary. This then leads to weight gain, cholesterol abnormalities, heart disease, fatigue, decreased immune response, loss of muscles and osteoporosis.

Dr. Shafran thinks that Human Growth Hormone can be very dangerous as a supplement and should only be given in very special cases. There are many ways to increase the levels of Human Growth Hormone(HGH) naturally in the human body. Here are some suggestions that are much safer:
1. Strength Training
2. Amino Acids (Arginine, Ornithine, Lysine, Glutamine)
3. Vitamin (Niacin)
4. 25% Reduction of overall calories
5. Decrease in Body Fat
