On tonight’s show Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy learn all about the Pure Barre workout from Carrie Rezabek. Pure Barre’s small movements create big changes. Especially in your thighs, hips, butt and abs.Pure Barre is an evolution of ballet, pilates and the Lotte Berk method.

The Pure Barre Technique is a total body workout that burns fat and produces lifted seats, toned arms, thin thighs, and flat abs by fusing elements of ballet, pilates and weights in a 55 minute intense session. It is an effective, fast, yet safe way to change your body.

On tonight’s show, Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy learn all about Buns of Steel star, Tamilee Webb’s newest exercise DVD The Best of Tamilee: Buns, Abs and Arms.

Tamilee told us that she was always asked “When are your Buns of Steel videos coming out on dvd?” So she put together this great new dvd that combines her classic routines with some brand new workouts.  This dvd features a fifteen minute segments for your abs, a fifteen minute segment for your buns and a fifteen minute segment for your arms.  There is also a warm up and cool down segment included as well as a special 15 minute segment from Stacy McCarthy’s new Yoga Body - Lean & Defined dvd. You can do each segment by itself or do the entire workout.

Fitness expert Sue Fleming is the creator of the Buff Fitness® workout regimen. The program’s popularity led to a critically acclaimed reality TV series – Buff Brides – on Discovery Health Channel, still in reruns on Fit TV. Sue’s new Buff line of workout DVDs are based on her Random House/Villard book series, which includes Buff Brides, Buff Moms, Buff Moms-to-Be, and Fashionably Buff.

Sue is the newest celebrity trainer to join the roster of ExerciseTV, a new multi-platform television network dedicated to fitness, motivation and sports training. Sue, a naturally competitive athlete, instinctively knew the better the bride looked and felt out of her clothes, the more magical she would look (and feel!) while donning the breath-taking couture creation of her fantasy wedding. Sue gave us some of her best tips so our listeners could become buff brides or even buff grooms. She said you have to give yourself at least 3 months to get yourself in shape preferably 6 months or more. And please set a realistic goal. If you gained 30 pounds over 10 years you are not going to lose them in 30 days. Sue said her record weight loss for a client was taking her from about 220 pounds down to 145.
