On tonight’s show Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy learn all about Women’s Fitness from Kristin Harrison from Her Sports and Fitness magazine. Kristin gave our listeners some great tips to beat the heat. You can acclimate yourself to the heat by doing the following…1-start slow, walk before you run 2- slowly mix in walking and running 3- now you’re ready to run 4- Get your runs in early or late in the day when the temperature is cooler 5- Hydrate - drink before you run and during your run - try for a couple of ounces every 15 minutes or so.
