On tonight’s show Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy learn all about a great place to lose some weight and get in shape called Hilton Head Health. Our friends Kathy and Fletcher from Your Spa Report told us all about it. Kathy reported back from her recent week at Hilton Head Health. She loved the food and the exercise and she even lost a few pounds for her effort.

At Hilton Head Health you can enjoy a lot of exercise variety which makes things fun. Kathy tried lots of dance classes that she couldn’t find near her home. She also enjoyed all the workshops and seminars that covered topics like: eating healthy snacks and preparing for your daily routine back home. Throughout the day they offer Metabo Meals which are 100 calorie snacks like fruit or veggies. About 70% of the Healthy Vacationers are Women, typically in their forties or fifties.

We started the show with good friend Matt Bryzcki, author of Youth Fitness: An Action Plan for Shaping America’s Kids. We closed the show with Lampkin Butts, COO of Sanderson Farms, one of the nation’s finest poultry providers. You see Kathy and Fletcher are professional travel writers who travel the world and write about wonderful places that Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy will never see in real life. They will share some of their stories and their tips about past and upcoming trips.

Tonight they had some great advice for new spa patrons. Did you know that you should tip 20% after a massage? Also be sure to request a male or female massage therapist. And some spas give you paper thong underwear to wear for your massage. Who knew? If you are planning a spa vacation you should definitely check these guys out.

Kathy and Fletch also talked about their other business which is writing romance novels. They have even come up with a way to create custom romance novels for you and your significant other.
